It’s time to place your first order of the 2012 fifth edition of our legendary BANDIT, evidently called BANDIT 5 !
First, let’s present you briefly main features of the kite:
Visual aspect:
- New profile
- Reduced leading edge and battens diameter
- New bridle
- 2 back line positions on the kite
- New strut construction
- New graphics and colors
1st feeling:
- Incredible Lightness
- Immediate reactivity and turnability even in the edge of the wind-window
- smooth bar feeling with direct control
- No oversheet risk even in low end
On the water :
- Optimization of the wind range ; Huge low end and same rigidity/stability in strong/gusty wind
- Massive hang time and more lift for more radical but easiest kiteloops
- Smooth unhook feeling
- Same Delta C-shape advantages
The verdict:
Easiest, lightest and more intuitive than the B4, the 2012 Bandit 5 wins character if you provoke it but keeps the legendary versatility of the Delta C-shape.
It wins about 2 sizes in term of turnability (11m turns like a 10m) and become a kiteloop weapon, but stays the most adapted kite for all kind of riders and disciplines.

The price has to be confirmed, but according to first details that the factory gave us, it should be similar to 2011.
